About Me

This site is published by Scott McGlynn and is for anyone interested in knowing more about what it is like to live on Okinawa as an American while teaching high school band on an American Air Force Base.

After teaching in Washington state for 14 years, I had the opportunity to teach for DoDDS starting in the fall of 2007 and haven’t looked back since. Currently, I teach band and guitar at Kadena High School. In my free time, I train for Triathlons, dabble in photography, and .Net VB programming.
